For 24 hours members of the Lake Region Amateur Radio Club will be on the air with other stations in North America for the largest amateur radio event in the world. There will also be an antenna building demonstration at 3:00 and 6:00 pm on Saturday. There will be an opportunity for visitors to also get on the air and make contacts.
The Lake Region Amateur Radio Club’s Field Day activities will be held at Van Dyk Park, located at the Otter Tail County Historical Society.
EVERYONE is welcomed to stop by and check out the action, as local hams make contacts from all over the country, or even the world. In addition, interested non-hams can actually get on the air with a licensed ham at their side controlling the station.
