Planning an event? The parks offer numerous facilities with park shelters, buildings, picnic tables, barbecues and one facility with a kitchen. The Pebble Lake Picnic Shelter sits above Pebble Lake and offers a facility for 100 people including a kitchen, sand volleyball court and fire pit. The park to visit for stunning fall colors! An extensive network of trails for hikers, bicyclists, horseback riders and cross-country skiers winds around eight major lakes and many ponds. Lake Lida has a sandy beach and large picnic areas for visitors. Drive along the 5-mile scenic route to see how many of the 150 bird species and 50 species of mammals you can spot.

Glendalough State Park

Seek panfish in Annie Battle Lake, Minnesota's only "heritage fishery" (you can borrow a fishing kit from the park office, open year-round). Rent boats, canoes, kayaks, skis or snowshoes.

The wide, paved Glendalough Trail is perfect for beginners and leisurely bike rides through 12 miles of scenery with little incline. Or hike the scenic Beaver Pond Interpretive Trail. Visit the historic Glendalough Lodge for displays of the park's fascinating history.
